#Interview with André Pinto, Physiotherapist in Esch-sur-Alzette

How did your physiotherapy practice come about? What motivated you to go into private practice?

At the start of my career, I had the opportunity to work part-time as an employee at a well-known institution in Luxembourg, while practising privately in the afternoons. Very quickly, I understood that private practice offered something invaluable: freedom.

Being able to manage your own schedule, adapt your day to your personal and professional reality… it was this autonomy that convinced me to take the plunge.

What were the major milestones in developing your practice?

I took over a well-established practice in February 2017, where I had been working since 2015. This context allowed me to start with confidence: I knew the patients, the operations, the needs.

Since then, my goal has been to evolve our practice: expanding the premises, bringing in new physiotherapists, developing our skills through continuing education… and more recently, a real digital turning point.
